Student Educational records are maintained by the Records Office. You can submit documentation to the Records Office that could lower your tuition, waive a placement test(s) or get credit for previously completed courses or exams. Click on the links below to see if an official or unofficial copy is required. If sent by a personal email, the transcript will not be considered official.
Official college transcripts from a regionally accredited school can be sent electronically through an official, outside vendor or directly from your transfer institution. If you have questions about sending official transcripts electronically contact the Records Office 309-268-8071 or have your home institution submit the official transcript to records@heartland.edu.

These documents may be sent electronically through a third party (ex: Parchment) by choosing Heartland from the drop-down or search bar. Transcript submitted through a high school can be emailed to records@heartland.edu. If sent by a personal email, the transcript will not be considered official.
Students who completed their GED in Texas should contact the Records Office to request verification on their behalf.
Heartland Community College recognizes students’ learning gained in and outside of the
classroom. Credit may be awarded for previous coursework completed and prior experiences.
Students should check with all transfer institutions to determine if such credit will transfer.
