Jobs at HCC Pontiac

The college accepts application materials for part-time instructors on an ongoing basis for all disciplines. College departments assess the need for additional instructors on a semester-to-semester basis, review application materials as positions become available, and contact qualified candidates accordingly. High School Equivalency (GED) Exam

High School Equivalency (HSE) exams are administered at Heartland Community College Lincoln/Pontiac through Pearson VUE Testing. To register, create an account at GED.com and choose your test site location.

Community Exam Proctoring

Heartland Community College Lincoln/Pontiac serves as a proctored testing center for external institutions and Upward Mobility. Fees may apply for external exams. Appointments are required; call 309-268-8960 to schedule.

Livingston Workforce Services

Livingston Workforce Services is federally funded through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). WIOA is designed to help job seekers access employment, education, training, and support services to succeed in the labor market and to match employers with the skilled workers they need to compete in the global economy. Services are offered at no cost to help individuals find self-sustaining employment through resume development, job search tactics, financial support while attending school to earn a certificate or degree for a high-growth occupation, and more.
