The college accepts application materials for part-time instructors on an ongoing basis for all disciplines. College departments assess the need for additional instructors on a semester-to-semester basis, review application materials as positions become available, and contact qualified candidates accordingly. High School Equivalency (HSE) exams are administered at Heartland Community College Lincoln through Pearson VUE Testing. To register, create an account at GED.com and choose your test site location.

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) makes funding available for occupational training, work-based learning, and support services to help job seekers and businesses attain their occupational and workforce goals.
The LLWA partners with businesses, training providers, and community organizations to ensure continued workforce development. These partnerships help form the One-Stop interactive experience to meet the needs of residents and businesses in Cass, Christian, Logan, Menard, and Sangamon counties.
