Land of Lincoln Workforce Alliance
The Land of Lincoln Workforce Alliance is focused on education and economic development to create a collective response to economic and labor market challenges on the national, state, and local levels.
Staff are available to assist Illinois residents with resources necessary to promote a productive way of life. These valuable resources are designed to help both businesses and job seekers foster growth and make the right connections. Skills gained through the LLWA assist individuals in obtaining jobs that provide opportunities for a successful future.
A variety of career services, training and education, job search opportunities, step-by-step resources, and other tools are tailored to your needs. Whether on-site, in the classroom, or in the field, LLWA can help you locate opportunities to take your first steps toward a sustainable career. The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) makes funding available for occupational training, work-based learning, and support services to help job seekers and businesses attain their occupational and workforce goals.
The LLWA partners with businesses, training providers, and community organizations to ensure continued workforce development. These partnerships help form the One-Stop interactive experience to meet the needs of residents and businesses in Cass, Christian, Logan, Menard, and Sangamon counties.
