HCC Alumni Mentoring Network

Hawks Helping Hawks

Established by the Heartland Community College Alumni Committee, the HCC Alumni Mentoring Network was developed to foster meaningful relationships between HCC alumni and current Heartland students. The connections made in this program help prepare our students for a successful future and leave a lasting impact on our campus community.

How It Works

A 1:1 match with students and an alumni member. The match is based on information provided in the application.

Mentoring Success

Completion of individual goals determined by mentors/mentees at program’s outset in October
Ongoing dialogue/discussion with mentors and mentees throughout initiative and the conclusion of the program, including conversation outcomes and frequency; topics discussed; projected next steps for future dialogue; and how to additionally support mentors and mentees
Mid-point and conclusion; online evaluation surveys

How Do I Get Involved?

Alumni

You have the opportunity to share your professional and personal experience and expertise with current Heartland Community College. Complete the mentor application to become a mentor.

You have exclusive access to a robust network of alumni who are eager and willing to meet you and share their wisdom and advice. Complete the mentee application to be mentored by a HCC Alumni.
