Accounting Certificate
This certificate provides foundational skills in basic accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and tax preparation. You will have the opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials in bookkeeping and tax preparation, and will be eligible to sit for the IRS Special Enrollment Exam for Enrolled Agent status to represent taxpayers before the IRS. Upon completion of this certificate, you will be prepared to work as an accounting assistant year-round. You can further your education and career opportunity with the Business Technology Associate in Applied Science (AAS).
Bookkeeping Certificate
The Bookkeeping certificate provides you with extensive knowledge and industry certifications in bookkeeping and payroll accounting functions. Upon completion, you will be prepared for success in positions such as Accounting Clerk, Accounts Payable Clerk, and Payroll Specialist. You can apply this certificate toward the Paraprofessional Accounting Assistant Certificate and further into the Business Technology AAS degree.
